The inaugural France+Associates Event 'From House to Home' event was held at the Freedom HQ in Barnsley, South Yorkshire in June
An excellent day was had by all at a France+Associates event hosted by Symphony Group PLC at their state of the art marketing suite in Barnsley. It was the ideal location for a professional discussion about accessible design, with the added benefit of access to the latest Freedom Kitchens accessible display kitchen, which was demonstrated by Adam Thomas.
Delegates included solicitors, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, case managers and France + Associates' own team of associates, designers and architects.
The France+Associates event aimed to explore topics such as client care, architectural solutions, inclusive design and home adaptations for people with life-changing injuries. Group sessions were run as part of the day to facilitate discussion and sharing of ideas. Adam demonstrated various features that Freedom Kitchens has rolled out across the nation through their network of suppliers.
TV chef Peter Sidwell provided a delicious lunch, and feedback from the event demonstrates that it was a resounding success, with professionals coming together to make a real difference in the way in which homes are designed and adapted to improve safety and accessibility.
Funds raised from the event were donated to two incredible charities: Headway Huddersfield and District, and Open Country.
